Penguins Play Games On iPad

An aquarium at Long Beach, California, has found that penguins may enjoy iPad games just as much as humans.

Whilst all the older penguins were looking for a mate, a younger pair were being happily distracted by a game originally designed for cats which involves hunting mice.

Two of the volunteer marine mammal trainers at Aquarium of the Pacific, Hugh and Sara, came up with the idea when they noticed Jeremy and Newsom were looking left out. They decided to entertain them with Hugh's old iPad 1 and an app named "Game for Cats".

Newsom has now set a high score of 1600. I'm sure he's very proud.
