Tyler, the Creator: Goblin album review

Goblin comes straight at you and punches you in the ears as you’ve come to expect from Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future. This is the group’s first commercial release but Tyler has managed to maintain his credibility and unique style. Ghoulish beats and nihilistic lyrics haunt almost every track of this second instalment in Tyler’s conceptual solo work.  This dark journey through the psyche of OF’s front man is just as hellish as his previous release Bastard; lyrics are vicious, riddled with personal struggle and extreme violence. This album is just as violent and brilliant as Odd Future’s previous releases. A heavy controversial Hip-Hop album that you’ll either love or despise. 9
