X-Men: First Class.

After eagerly anticipating the latest arrival of the long awaited fifth instalment of the X-Men series, this prequel to the earlier films “X-Men: First Class” most definitely does not disappoint the inner geek.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn (who, yes, you’ve got it, directed Kick-Ass.) takes the audience back to the origins. His personal take on this iconic series does not just stand on its own, but it surpasses its future predecessors making it quirky, entertaining and above all else enjoyable to both comic fans and non-comic fans alike.

Set during the backdrop of the 1960s this film revolves around the significant relationship between Professor X and Magneto, and the origin of their conflicting groups: The X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants.

So if you don’t do anything else this week, make sure you check out this film.
