Frequency Lincoln Digital Culture Festival 2011

So in a place that's well known for a gothic cathedral and cobbled streets, there's going to be a contemporary festival to celebrate the pioneering spirit of digital innovation and culture through exhibition, creative collisions and debate?  Well it's about time.  Frequency Digital Culture Festival, supported by student interns from University of Lincoln, will be taking place between 21st and 29th October, and New Rising Media will be covering it all, including:

Stelarc’s Prosthetic Head, Roseline de Thelin’s Light Beings, the kinetic sculpture of Alex Posada, Luke Jerram’s Glass Microbiology, Andy McKeown’s lo-fi street interactions, the hi tech circus of Lincoln’s own Jestival and the fairytale world of The Icebook, and many many more.

Visit their site, give them a like and a follow while you're at it, and take a look at our Twitter when the time comes to see our live updates from Frequency
