A year ago, the feverish anticipation built up for the latest Apple conference proved unsubstantiated. With many expecting the long-awaited unveil of the iPhone 5, the reveal of a slightly-updated iPhone 4 with voice assistant Siri meant many were left a little cheated. As is tradition, sales told a different story, with consumers lapping up the 4S in droves despite such minute changes over its predecessor. Tomorrow, the cycle starts up again.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II trailer released
Sega has capped off 2011 by giving us a teaser into what we can look forward to in 2012, as a short promo confirms Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II for release next year.
The trailer is light on information, lacking any actual gameplay footage; but it confirms the return of Tails to the series and "the Rebirth of a Villain." It's coming to Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, Windows Phone and Android. Nintendo Wii has been scratched off the list to receive this sequel. Better luck next time.
Apple says iOS has 'few remaining' battery problems in 5.0.1
According to AllthingsD, Apple has just released the following statement regarding iPhone battery life in the just-released iOS 5.0.1 update:
The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.
