Enslaved review (PS3/Xbox 360)

Ever wandered how to encapsulate Avatar into a game better than the arduous shooter of the same name? We have another new-age Pocahontas plot to wade through here, which breathes a pretentious nature as the game moves with a confident swagger. The post-apocalyptic city landscape infused with centuries of forestry creates an environment with subtle steam-punk influences, creating an inspirational backdrop to a linear experience that balances between entertainingly simple and laborious. Either the story and visual prowess of the game’ll carry you away, or you will hate the severe simplicity with little replayability. The choice, as always, is yours. 6
