Corning, the company behind Gorilla Glass, has released the sequel to their original video titled 'A Day Made of Glass,' going into fascinating detail about the possible future uses of touchscreen technology, including advanced chalkboards and hospital room walls.
Corning have released two versions: one abbreviated version that cuts out commentary, and (the one that we prefer) the full-length including full explanations of technological capabilities and possibilities. Many different conceptual uses of touchscreen glass technology are explored, from car dashboards which are entirely touch-based to the rather fascinating idea of a large glass barrier which can be used as an augmented reality video display to educate further about the forestry surroundings in this example.
