Donkey Kong Country Returns review

Blowing the dust out of the cartridge slot to your Super Nintendo that took precedence in any set up: be it in the family living room where Jim Davidson’s Generation game took precedence on Saturday evenings leaving you to sulk in the single coldest armchair of the living room, or in your bedroom where you’re always to be found for the majority of the day.  All for one game...returns.

An awkward infusion of button and motion control, a re-imagined visual style that implements both new technology and old design ethics, co-op multiplayer, and an accessible sense-of-humor. Don’t call it a comeback; but it’s definitely something. 7
