iOS5 release date 12th October

The new version of iOS5 has been announced for release on October 12th at the Let's talk iPhone keynote tonight.

New features include tabbed browing in safari, a whole new voice assistant, a renovated camera app, and a realised integration of the iCloud into the digital lifestyle being "ushered" in (if we adapt to it) by Apple.  Other announcements include a new "find my friends" app: taking stalking to an all new level, the iTunes match service for those who want to take their pirated music and turn it into free music, and the release date for all iCloud services matching the above of October 12th.
