"Social Media is Over" - James Franco

Franco, who you may recognise from his various appearances in the more traditional medium of film, appears to have made this sweeping statement shortly after quickly vanishing from every celebrity's favourite social networking site, Twitter.

Apparently, Twitter exodus came after companies Franco 'work[s] with' contacted him about the things he was saying. If Franco can't have fun with social media because of his huge endorsement deals, no-one can, it's 'over'. Isn't 'Your Highness' only getting attention because social networkers are excited that you can see Natalie Portman's bum in the trailer?
