'Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie' Trailer Released

The Angry Video Game Nerd has been a hit sensation on the Internet for over one hundred episodes, and the first trailer for its film adaptation has been released.

Announced back in 2010, creator and AVGN star James Rolfe announced plans for the movie back in 2010, cutting back on episodes of The Angry Video Game Nerd to focus on it.  The story revolves around the 1983 burial of the downright awful E.T. The Extra Terrestrial game for Atari 2600 (really happened).  When the Government mistake his search for the game as a hunt for alien life forms, a chase across the New Mexico desert eusues, crashing into millions of boxes for effect.

Shooting for the movie ended back in May, after a period of fan funding earned James Rolfe and independent filmmaker Kevin Finn a $325,000 for the film.  The result is predicted to be launched in Summer 2013 on DVD & Blu Ray; but from the trailer, fair to say I'm excited to see the self-hating, terrible retro game scourging nerd back.
