Instacube: The Live Instagram Digital Photo Frame

Ever thought that capturing poorly composed photography and applying viginette filters to give yourself a facade of angst just doesn't make you enough of a hipster anymore?  Your prayers have been answered in hardware form, as the folks at D2M have created a particular device called the Instacube.

Essentially, it's a digital photo frame that will display multiple feeds of Instagram photos you assign to it via entering the relevant hashtag.  The hardware looks really nicely designed.  A 7.5-inch square thats 2.5-inches deep, a 6.5-inch LCD touchscreen (at the oh-so lovely Instagram resolution of 600x600), and three physical buttons on top for power, browsing and favouriting photos.  An un-disclosed version of Android runs the show with an ARM processor, 4GB storage, 256MB of RAM, and WiFi to keep an independent connection with the photo sharing service.

The Kickstarter project for Instacube has received just over $70,000 at the time of writing this, with 629 backers.  Interested?  I know some of you wearing faux spectacles with pride will be!
