Google Glass Specifications Revealed

Google has published a list of technical specifications for the upcoming head-mounted device Glass. These include a 640x360 display, the equivalent of a "25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away," a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video capture, 16 GB of storage (with 12 GB being usable), and audio delivered via a bone conduction transducer.

The specs also claim "one full day of typical use," without using some of the more feature intensive apps like Hangouts and video recording.  It charges over Micro USB; but Google explicitly request you use the charger that comes with it to "preserve long and prosperous Glass use."  Beyond this, it comes with built-in Wifi 802.11 b/g, and bluetooth connectivity to pair with your Android phone.  The MyGlass app will deliver the GPS and text messaging services that are promoted in the various ads.

As the first devices have rolled off the production line, we're looking forward to what the future holds for Google Glass.
