The Como Brothers - Baby Steps EP Review

Como-brother-BABY-STEPS-Album-Cover.jpg

The Como Brothers are siblings from New York with music in their blood. The duo's rock with an alternative blues twist is perfect for any fans of John Mayer, The Black Keys, or the earlier material of Maroon 5.

The lyrics are largely dominant within the tracks uplifting background beats which makes you want to get up and dance. As my foot taps away they can be compared with The Black Keys and Jason Mraz. Their songs such as “Straight Face” has a soft commercialised sound, however tracks like “Gotta Be True” brings back their hard hitting rock roots. Their well-rounded and innovative 12 set album “Baby Steps” released on October 1st, 2013 is definitely one to be played on them downhearted rainy days.

You can’t help but smile and sing along with these cheeky chirpy chaps.

Best Track: Numbed
