The implications of Steve Jobs' resignation

The inherent effect felt by the vast consumer base, besides the slight mournfulness that will besiege anyone who understands one CEO's commitment to a company that remains at the forefront of the technology industry will most probably be null.  Nobody will see a difference as for a significant chunk of the previous year, Tim Cook has in maintained the helm and preserved the prestige that surrounds Apple.

This will make the iPhone 5 the last product with Steve Jobs as CEO.  If such a product hand't gained enough significance in the lives of many, this new perspective has given such a product a life...and we haven't even seen it yet.

May blood run in six colours for a long time to come.
